This Privacy Policy describes how Luxe Melt ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of luxemelt.store (the "Site"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit the Site, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information. Payment details are processed securely by our payment processors, and we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. When you sign up for our email newsletter, we collect your email address. When you contact us with a question, return request, or support issue, we collect the information you include in that communication.

In addition, when you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device. This includes your web browser type and version, IP address, time zone, approximate location, and information about the cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as "Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies. Log files track actions occurring on the Site and collect data such as your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps. Pixels, tags, and web beacons are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. This includes the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show you relevant ads on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to fulfill orders placed through the Site, including processing your payment, arranging shipping, and providing you with order confirmations, tracking information, and invoices. We use it to communicate with you about your order, respond to your questions, and provide customer support, as well as to process returns and refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy. We also use order information to screen for potential risk or fraud.

Where you have opted in to receive them, we use your email address to send you marketing emails and promotional offers. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in any marketing email. Finally, we use Device Information to improve and optimize the Site, to analyze how customers browse and interact with it, and to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your personal information with third parties only as necessary to operate our business. We use Shopify Inc. as our e-commerce platform, which powers the Site and stores customer and order data; you can read Shopify's privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. Payment processors such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, and other checkout providers receive your payment details in order to securely process your transaction.

Because our products are shipped by fulfillment and supply partners, we share your name and shipping address with the suppliers and logistics partners who manufacture, pack, and ship your order. These partners may be located outside the United States, and your shipping information may be transferred internationally solely for the purpose of delivering your order. Shipping carriers receive your delivery information in order to deliver your package and provide tracking updates. We also share limited data with marketing and analytics platforms such as Meta to measure ad performance and deliver relevant advertising, and with email service providers in order to send transactional and marketing emails.

We may also disclose your personal information if required to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money.

4. Behavioral Advertising

As described above, we use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertisements and marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. You can opt out of targeted advertising from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through your ad settings at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads, or opt out more broadly through the Digital Advertising Alliance's portal at https://optout.aboutads.info/.

5. Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we retain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the information below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA. These include the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right under the GDPR to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract when fulfilling your order, our legitimate interests in improving the Site and preventing fraud, and your consent with respect to marketing emails and advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time. Please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States, in order to fulfill your order and operate the Site.

7. Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter the Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser, as there is currently no industry standard for responding to such signals.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information. All transactions on the Site are processed through encrypted SSL/TLS connections, and payment details are handled by PCI-compliant payment processors. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
